Epiphanie Camera Bag

This week I discovered the most beautiful and functional camera bag and I want one,  I mean I really REALLY want one.

If you are anything like me, you probably debate whether or not to even bring the big bulky GOOD camera to certain functions…in the ugly backpack or case you have. It can be a hassle. So this professional photography and mom has come up with a solution to wrapping your DSLR in a towel and shoving it in your purse. A gorgeous purse/camera bag combo…with all the features needed to protect your expensive equipment and added room for your purse requirements too. No more lugging around 2 or 3 heavy bags.

Features include flexible velcro panels that can be adjusted to fit your equipment, water resistant exterior, a removable cross body strap with extra padding, and lots of pockets and zippers for all those doodads that end up in our purses.

At the moment there are just three styles to choose from, but more are in the works for later this year and the bag start shipping out this month. Visit www.epiphanie.com for details.

I’ve got my eye on the Lola!

Your Capture Shapes

This week’s theme for You Capture is Shapes and at first I had no idea what I would take pictures of and then ran out of time, but looking through my photos from last week’s trip North, I did notice some shapes. I was taken random pictures of things for no apparent reason and voila…now I can use them.

My son so proud of his domino creation…gotta love those little rectangles!

Aperture Challenge

I’m learning to play around with the manual settings on my camera more and more and so I decided to join the Bloggography Challenge over at Better in Bulk this week. The challenge was to photography something red or pink at different Aperture settings…let’s see what we got. Taken with a Canon XSi Rebel and a Canon 18-55mm lens. It was overcast and snowing out and since it’s not going to be stopping anytime soon, just excuse the poor light. The ISO was set at 800 for all the photos.

First up, my new baby, my iPhone with a pretty red case.

Then some Murano glass candy, the only red one I have. Don’t mind the dust please, I hate dusting, it’s so pointless…and I didn’t notice it until after I had taken the pictures and opened transferred them to the computer. The glass Gondola in the background blurs a little more as you go higher in Aperture setting.

On the first set, I like the higher Aperture photos more, on the glass candy, I prefer to lower Aperture photo.
