It’s Friday and time for another Friday Fave of mine…and yet another item on my “I want it” list. Elemental Memories is a site I discovered last year, not sure where, maybe on Twitter? Possibly? All I know is, the pieces are gorgeous, unique, and mom-made. What else matters?

Elemental Memories takes your precious photos and puts them on baked clay tiles which are hand-pressed using low fire clay. I don’t know what it means, or how it’s done, but they come out looking gorgeous and are so unique. Not to mention super stylish.

Wouldn’t this make a fabulous mother’s day gift…hint hint. Anybody read my blog that is related to me??? I doubt it. Any stranger out there want to send me a necklace?? Yeah, I doubt that too. Of course, a custom photo collage makes a pretty awesome gift too.

Nothing but hilarious outtakes

This week’s theme over at I Heart Faces is “Hilarious Outtakes” and since I have NOTHING but outtakes with my “we refuse to pose for you” boys, I have plenty I could share here. But I will pick my top 5 most recent ones. I tired valiently the other day to take some pictures outside of the boys…but alas while I did get a good one of my older son, Little Man refused to cooperate. As soon as I point the camera at him, he makes some kind of face and then insists I show him the picture right away.

And then a not too distant past favorite was the very quick photo session we had trying to get pictures for our Christmas card. It was an ugly day out and I decided at the last minute to do a photo card again and this is how they decided to act…

I love the look on Little Man’s face, priceless.
